After completing her Graduation she started working as a Model. She participated in Max Miss Bangalore 2012 where she emerged as the second runner-up.
Rukshar started her acting career in 2016 with a romantic-thriller film “Run Antony” opposite Vinay Rajkumar. Next, she appeared in the Telugu film “Aakatayi” as Anagha.
